Due to it being 'backlit' it is very difficult to capture the facial features of this sculpture. They are however those of Lady Cahn wife of Sir Julian, the benefactor. She had recently died and The Mayor gave permission for her image to be used as the model for this work and thus a lasting memorial to her memory.
