This is a magnificent room with beautiful panelling enhanced by delicate wood carvings around the door frames and fireplace. The panelling was recovered from from Aston Hall in Derbyshire when it was demolished but before then it originally adorned a room in the old Nottingham Exchange that stood on the same spot as today's Council House. | |
