When handed one of the most beautiful settings imaginable and asked to design a new pavilion it is totally beyond me as to how any architect could come up with a design as ugly as this one! Maybe it's because I'm just an uncultured Notts lad that prevents me from appreciating the buildings 'finer' points. What do you think ? |

This centre for the visual and dramatic arts also goes by the name of The Lakeside Arts Centre. It was 'designed' by architects Marsh, Grochowski. It also houses the University of Nottingham's collection of various D. H. Lawrence manuscripts and documents. |
