12 Low Pavement ? This building does not display a number but logically, as next door is numbered 8 - 10, this should be No.12. However logic doesn't seem to enter into today's numbering of Low Pavement and this is most likely the result of much smaller properties having occupied the sites before, leaving 'spare' numbers. This very ornate and interesting little building dates from 1876 and is now a restaurant, but I would be very interested to know what it's original use was.
