I find it very hard to accept that £11 MILLION is being spent on the new modern arts centre but the council can't bail this theatre out with a paltry £65K contribution.

 

 

This small theatre that is run by volunteers is presently in the news. It faces closure unless the princely sum of £65.000 can be raised.

The building was formerly a Baptist Chapel designed by Edward Staveley and built in 1815
