If you can say who the architect was for this building, then please contact me.

I am informed by site visitor Simon Morehen that this building dates back to 1898 and was built for John Player & Sons. It was known as Player's No'4 factory and from 1903 was used as cardboard and sample store. It became The Castle Cavendish Works in1914 and in the Second World War was used as a munitions factory. This factory ceased its association with John Player in 1983 when Rex Camall locked the doors for the last time. It was then The Engineers Office.
