Nottingham Midland Railway Station
Carrington Street-
(Pictures prior to restoration)
-

The Midland Station as seen here was designed by Abert E Lambert and opened in 1904. It replaced earlier stations on or near this site the first of which opened in 1839 on the site now occupied by the new Magistrates Court building. It is in what is known as the Edwardian Baroque Revival style and is constructed in a mixture of red bricks and red terracotta.
