This is one of those buildings that have very little printed about them. From an old postcard on Picture the Past, I got the name of the school but this seems a little odd as it actually stands at the junction of Lenton Boulevard and Ilkeston Road The school was designed by George Thomas Hine, son of the famous Thomas Chambers Hine and dates from c 1887 |
