Whilst this photograph shows the pub closed with a 'For Sale' sign above the door, I am pleased to report that when I last drove past the sign had gone and the premises open for business again.

The building has a date stone showing 1912

Whilst the beautiful green tiling is unique in the city, this pub also has another claim to fame ......
